Short bio:

Since I joined the DDIS group as research assistant in September 2013, I am studying the topic of crowdsourced collaborative data analysis. Specifically, I am fascinated with the idea of enabling diverse crowds with limited coding skills to participate in end-to-end data analysis projects. If possible, this idea will make data analysis more accessible and substantially lower the costs of data-driven research. Drawing on statistical methods and organizational psychology, I am designing a method to facilitate collaboration among diverse crowds for data analysis. Such research can be seen as a next frontier of Citizen Science

Previously, I studied at the University of Ben Gurion, Israel, in Department of Industrial Engineering and Management with a focus on information systems. My Master thesis was in the field of data quality.

Research Interests:

My research interests lie in the fields of Crowdsourcing, Applied Statistics, Data Science, and Statistical Data Quality.
